Biography

Mr. Chibuike Maurice Onwukamuche serves as the Head of the Intellectual Property, Corporate & Trade Law Department at Erugo’s Attorneys and Consultants, where he leads a progressive and cross-functional legal team focused on protecting and commercializing intangible assets, structuring businesses, and navigating the complexities of modern trade and digital innovation.

A highly resourceful legal professional with a global outlook, Mr. Onwukamuche brings a unique blend of expertise in intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and digital enterprise law. His counsel is sought by a wide array of clients — from creatives and startups to multinational corporations, fintech enterprises, media producers, and manufacturing companies — across matters requiring innovation-driven, legally sound, and commercially strategic solutions.

He holds an LL.B (Hons.) and was called to the Nigerian Bar after rigorous professional training at the Nigerian Law School. His growing influence in both legal innovation and commercial structuring is rooted in years of hands-on experience advising on IP rights, licensing agreements, corporate formation and restructuring, trade agreements, compliance, and cross-border transactions.
